Kove is operated by Collin Stedham, an individual sole trader ("Kove", "we", "us"). We operate the Kove web application available at cowork.fyi (and related domains). We act as the data controller for personal data processed through the service.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email, login credentials, profile preferences.
- Content you submit: chat messages, prompts, uploaded files, voice recordings, generated outputs.
- Usage and telemetry: feature usage counts, device and browser identifiers, IP address, log data.
- Support communications: messages you send to us and our replies.
3. Why we process it
- To create your account and provide the service (contract performance).
- To run AI models on your inputs and store your outputs (contract performance).
- To prevent fraud and abuse and keep the service secure (legitimate interests).
- To improve the product and troubleshoot issues (legitimate interests).
- To comply with legal obligations (legal obligation).
4. Who we share data with
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that run the service on our behalf.
- AI model providers used to generate responses, images, and transcriptions.
- Paddle.com Market Ltd., our Merchant of Record for payments, subscription management, tax, and invoicing. Paddle processes your payment information directly.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting) and authorities where required by law.
5. International transfers
Personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards.
6. Retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. On account deletion we delete or anonymise your data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention reasons.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent. 8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege service credentials to protect personal data.
9. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
