Terms of Service

1. Who you contract with

These terms are an agreement between you and Collin Stedham, an individual sole trader operating under the trading name "Kove" ("Kove", "we", "us"), the operator of the Kove service available at cowork.fyi. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms.

2. The service

Kove provides an AI assistant that can chat with you, generate images, transcribe voice, and connect to third-party tools.

To power these services, Kove designs, fine-tunes, and deploys custom AI models built upon open-weights and third-party foundation architectures:

• Rohan 3 is a custom model developed and optimized by Kove, engineered using DeepSeek v4 flash as its base foundation.
• Kove TTS is a proprietary text-to-speech system developed by Kove, built upon and enhanced from the Inworld TTS architecture.
• Kove Image is a custom image generation model developed by Kove, trained and built upon the Flux Schnell base model.

The service is provided on an "as is" basis and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

3. Payments and subscriptions

Payments are processed by Stripe, which handles checkout, subscription billing, tax calculation, invoicing, and disputes for Kove orders. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from your plan settings. Card details are handled by Stripe and never touch our servers. Payment mechanics are additionally governed by Stripe's consumer terms.

4. Acceptable use

You must not use the service to:

• break the law, infringe intellectual property, or facilitate fraud or spam;
• generate illegal content, sexual content involving minors, targeted harassment, or malware;
• create deepfakes of real people without consent, or impersonate others;
• probe, scrape, or interfere with the security or integrity of the service;
• circumvent technical limits or attempt to jailbreak the model.

You are responsible for your prompts and for how you use the outputs, including verifying their accuracy and ensuring you have the rights to any content you submit.

5. AI output disclaimer

AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive. Do not rely on the service for legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice without independent verification by a qualified professional.

6. Intellectual property and third-party model licenses

Kove retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the service, its proprietary software, branding, and all custom model adaptations, fine-tunings, weights, and enhancements created by Kove for Rohan 3, Kove TTS, and Kove Image. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. You retain rights in the content you submit; you grant us a limited licence to host and process it solely to operate the service.

Model Lineage & Third-Party Attribution:

While Kove owns its custom model developments and fine-tuned implementations, Kove acknowledges the underlying foundational model architectures created by their respective developers:

• Flux Schnell (Kove Image): Flux Schnell is licensed under the Apache License, Version 2.0 (http://www.apache.org/licenses/LICENSE-2.0). Kove Image's base architecture is utilized in full compliance with the Apache 2.0 license terms.
• DeepSeek v4 Flash (Rohan 3): Rohan 3 incorporates the DeepSeek v4 Flash base model under applicable open model licensing terms (including MIT License / DeepSeek Model License conditions).
• Inworld TTS (Kove TTS): Kove TTS incorporates and operates via Inworld TTS under commercial terms and licenses granted by Inworld AI.

Generative Output Licensing:

Any material (meaning downloadable media in any form) you generate while not on a paid plan is usable under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license. If you are on a paid plan, the material generated is fully yours and you have all rights to use it, commercial or otherwise, subject to the broad permissive rights granted by the underlying base model licenses.

Stock footage is NOT generated material and carries its own licenses (visible in the platform). Explainer videos containing stock footage may not be legal for commercial use, but the audio generated (using Kove TTS) and all other generated scenes are subject to the same generative license outlined above.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious violations of these terms. On termination, your right to use the service ends; provisions that by their nature should survive will survive.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction. Disputes will be resolved by the courts of that jurisdiction.
